This policy explains what information Swipe Saver ("Swipe Saver", "we", "us") collects through this website, our rate checks and quotes, our text messages and our merchant accounts, and how we use and protect it. If you have a question about it, write to getswipesavers@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, business name, email, phone number, industry, state, processing volume and anything you write in a form, plus any documents you choose to send us.
- Application information. If you apply for a merchant account, the details banks require to open one, such as business ownership, tax identification, identity documents and bank account details for deposits.
- Information from your use of the site. Basic technical data your browser sends, such as pages visited and device type. The fees you flag, the risk tier you select and the estimates you run on this site are stored in your own browser so they can be included in your request; they are not sent to us unless you submit a form.
How we use it
- To prepare your quote and side-by-side comparison, and to reply to you.
- To review, underwrite, open and support a merchant account if you apply for one.
- To meet legal, regulatory and card network requirements, and to prevent fraud.
- To improve this website and our service.
Text messages
If you check the box to receive text messages, we use your mobile number to send messages about your request and account setup. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.
When we share information
- Banks and processors. With our sponsor bank, card networks and processing partners as needed to underwrite and operate your account.
- Service providers. With vendors that help us run our business, such as hosting, email, messaging and customer relationship tools, under agreements that limit their use of it.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, regulation, subpoena or card network rules, or to protect against fraud.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect it
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to financial information, including encryption in transit. Card data processed through our gateways and terminals is handled by PCI DSS compliant systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Merchant account records are kept for the periods banks, card networks and the law require.
Cookies and ad measurement
We use Google Ads to measure which of our ads lead people to request a free analysis. When you request one, your browser tells Google Ads that a request happened. We do not send your name, email, phone or form answers to Google. Google may set cookies to connect the request to an ad you clicked. In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and Canada, this happens only if you choose "Accept" on our cookie notice; elsewhere it is on by default. You can accept or reject anytime with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. Learn how Google uses this information at business.safety.google/privacy.
Your choices
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to getswipesavers@gmail.com. Some records must be kept for legal or regulatory reasons.
- Opt out of marketing email with the unsubscribe link in any email, and out of texts by replying STOP.
- Clear the quiz, grade and estimate information stored in your browser by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We'll honor requests as those laws require.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
